Anthropologists are unsure as to exactly when Homo Sapiens first appeared on Earth, but it was definitely at least 300,000 years ago and possibly as early as 500,000 years ago or more. Since then, in the most recent years, we have significantly advanced our technology. We began writing around 5,500 years ago. We invented the airplane in 1903, the electronic computer in 1945, and we landed on the moon in 1969. Since the invention of writing, it has been a wild ride for Homo Sapiens and especially in the last 100 years, the acceleration of technology has been mind boggling.
